Sometimes it takes a dramatic event to get you back blogging again. I started a blog and then didn’t write anything for a long time. Well, stuff happens in real life to keep one away from the internet.
Also blogging has to be like a habit. Everyday we log onto our email accounts and check our mail. My problem was that the web address for blog site was not part of my habit. I would think about blogging and then not remember where the site was! So, hopefully I’v solved that part of the problem.
But also, a dramatic event can occur to get you back blogging. Yesterday, I received an email message saying that my email account was cut off! My first reaction was panic! My second was “how dare they” and my third reaction was to open a new gmail account so this could not happen again. I will always have an email account that is working.
The nice thing about gmail is it doesn’t matter where I work, live, or post. It goes with me everywhere. I am not dependent on an information provider, so if a bill doesn’t get paid or I move into a different area, the service won’t be cut off. So, now I will start transferring my mail over to the new account! The best thing is that the gmail is not associated with any internet provider. So, if I change companies, the address won’t change.
